FAQs From The Pets ALIVE Doc
Dr. Jen Breese Answers Frequently Asked Questions
"What kind of transport vehicle will you be using to deliver my pet to your Clinic?"
Pets ALIVE Spay/Neuter Clinic partners with animal welfare organizations from around south-central Indiana . These groups schedule clients for a particular day, and Pets ALIVE provides the transportation for those animals to and from the Spay/Neuter Clinic. The transport vehicle is a modified cargo truck, complete with anchors and customized shelving for the animals' crates. Each crate is individually secured on the shelves, protecting your pet's crate from shifting or moving during transit. The animal area is temperature controlled. In addition, the driver, who is trained in animal first-aid, has visual access to the animals via a sliding door between the cab's bucket seats.
Some pet owners schedule appointments directly with Pets ALIVE Spay/Neuter Clinic, and they personally transport their pet to the clinic for surgery.
