Paw Prints Calendar
Winners are announced!
Te see them, click the button above. All photo entries will be featured somewhere in the calendar; non-winners will be displayed in day-size calendar cells.
Voting on pet photos:
- Contest photos were on display September 5-September 21 at T&T Pet Food & Supplies, at PETCO, the website, and at the Pets ALIVE Clinic. Ballot forms and secure ballot boxes will be available for voting onsite at the display locations.
- Photos can also be viewed (and voted on for a donation of $1 or more) via the Pets ALIVE website during the voting period, using the following methods:
a) Ballot forms were also printed off the website and mailed to: PET PHOTO CONTEST, Pets ALIVE, 6522 S. Empire Road, Bloomington, IN 47401 with a vote/donation.

b) Too late to vote this year, but donations can always be made online via PayPal! (Available August)
If voting by PayPal, you can make notes in the PayPal “Add special instructions for the Merchant” section.
Tallying and notification:
- Winners announced the week of September 24. Winning photos will be featured in the Paw Prints Calendar.
- The photo receiving the most votes will be the “Pet of the Year”. That photo will grace the cover of the Paw Prints Calendar and will be featured on the month chosen by the entrant. Target date for calendar availability is October 30.
- The next 11 top vote getters will be featured as pin-up “Pet of the Month” for February through December
Pet Photo Contest Rules
Participation in the Paw Prints Pet Photo Contest was open to everyone. The Pet Photo Contest is a fundraiser for the Pets ALIVE Spay/Neuter Clinic, so all entries and votes were welcome.
- Entrants mailed or deliver an entry form (click here to download), a tasteful 4 x 6 photograph, three 4 x 6 copies, and a $10 donation to Pets ALIVE at 6522 S. Empire Road, Bloomington, IN 47401. Entries were submitted by August 31.
- Emphasis of the photos are on pets, not people. Photos that featured people or contain blatant advertising would not be accepted. Having more than one pet in a photo was acceptable. Pets ALIVE reserved the right to refuse photos that contain inappropriate subject matter.
- There was no limit to the number of photos that an individual could submit; however, each required an entry form, three 4 x 6 copies, and a $10 donation. (Checks payable to Pets
